Circle G Farms Cornbread

Serves: 4-6 | Prep Time: 25 minutes | Cook Time: 20 minutes


1 Tbsp. Butter
1 cup all purpose flour
¾ cup Circle G Farms Bloody Butcher Cornmeal
⅓ cup sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil


Melt butter in a cast iron skillet to grease. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder. In another bowl, blend egg, milk, and vegetable oil until well combined. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, and mix until just combined. Pour batter into skillet evenly. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until light, golden brown.
